ABOUT COMPLETE EYE EXAMS
Comprehensive eye exam is more than a check for prescription glasses. It allows the doctor to detect early and treat promptly diseases that are asymptomatic. In a physical eye exam, the overall health is optimized as one is routinely screened against diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes and hypertension. A checklist of other standard procedures is outlined
Pupil Dilation a process wherein the health of entire eye structures is evaluated with the uses of dilation eye drops and lenses. Dilating drops enlarge one's pupils, so a more complete view of the eyes’ internal structure is possible for the doctor.​

CLINICAL PROCEDURES

Vision /Refraction Wavefront analyses is obtained for causes of vision distortions via iTrace aberrometer. Spectacle prescription is then determined by doctor via automate phoroptor and retinoscopy.

Tonometry One's eye fluid pressure is tested via a digital pen probe called Diaton. Eye pressure is one of many risk factors for glaucoma, one of leading causes for blindness.

Binocular vision testing Evaluations of eye coordination, eye muscles movement, focusing and depth perception. Doctor may prescribe glasses or vision therapy so eyes can work more smoothly together as a team.
4.
Visual field test Side vision is measured with a computerized perimeter. It assess possible defects which may indicate medical problems.

Per FDA regulations, contact lenses are medical devices and its prescriptions expire after one year.When contact lens prescription expires, a new doctor's appointment is needed prior to reordering of contacts. Consumers often times are not aware that seeing fine does not mean eyes are healthy and fine. That the eyes are healthy and will remain safe from the continue use of contacts are reasons for the annual office visit and evaluation. Certain complications associated with contacts use that are not identified, managed and treated ahead of time may lead to long term consequences.
ABOUT CONTACTS EXAMS
Contacts Eye Exam Special procedures doctor uses to prescribe contacts and to treat those with vision and complex conditions. The process will include measurements, imaging and evaluation of eyelids, conjunctiva, corneas, and tear film to ensure proper fit of contacts. Advances in contacts designs are discussed and reviewed by the doctor to optimize patient's eye health and vision options. Doctor issues a Contacts Lens Prescription after close evaluation of one's ocular health, vision requisites and trial uses of contacts. The care is extensive: it may require one or more follow-up visit(s). The contacts eye exam fee includes all necessary follow-up visits, one week of trial lens AND the issuance of contacts prescription if appropriate.
ABOUT MEDICAL EXAM
Medical eye care Ocular diagnoses and management of eye conditions for pediatrics and adults from 6 months old and older. Treatments may include eye glasses, ointments, plugs, eye drops and oral medications for ocular redness, allergies, infections, inflammations, dry eyes, glaucoma and lazy eyes.
